07-22-2006 - Thank you Martin Mercy
Before I begin, he answers to Marty but prefers to be called Martin.
Dear Martin,
This is an open letter to thank you for all your years of service to the Ulysses S. Grant High School Class of 1963 and to it's Reunion Committee. As the titular head of the committee you worked long and hard, put up with much, made sure everyone was heard, won the procrastinator of the decade award several times yet managed to get everything done not only on time but done extraordinarily well. You saved the class thousands of dollars in printing costs thus reducing the price of admission. We have had the best reunions any class could hope for; thank you Mr. Chairman Emeritus. Enjoy your retirement in Chicago and we will see you back in California in 2013 for our 50 year reunion.
